His journey through these culturally rich cities has shaped his inclusive approach to hospitality—bringing people from all backgrounds together through food. Now serving as General Manager at Assumption University, Samuel is focused on building a culture of excitement and community on campus. He believes that food is a powerful connector, and he’s committed to creating memorable dining experiences that reflect the diversity and spirit of the AU community. In his current role as Catering Director at Assumption Hospitality, Connor oversees the guest experience and event execution with a focus on efficiency and reliability. His experience with team coordination and operational planning has elevated the level of service provided at Assumption Hospitality Catering. Connor holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration, with a minor in Finance and Accounting, from Hartwick College, bringing a fresh perspective to campus. His career spans a wide range of settings—from contract foodservice and high-end restaurants to luxury hotels, catering operations, and large-scale wedding venues. This diverse background has shaped his dynamic, hands-on approach to hospitality and cuisine. Chef Balut thrives in the fast-paced, ever-evolving nature of the culinary world. He embraces the unpredictability of each day, knowing that success is earned through dedication, creativity, and hard work. His commitment to excellence is driven by a desire to make every dining experience memorable, especially for the students he serves at Assumption University. His goal is simple: To have students, team members, and the community proud of the program, offerings, and University. Outside the kitchen, Chef Balut is an avid nature enthusiast. He spends his free time hiking, kayaking, fishing, and foraging with his wife and children whenever the weather allows. She's passionate about helping students navigate dining while at college and promotes holistic wellness. Gabby helps students discover healthier eating habits and lifestyle practices. She strongly believes in a weight-neutral approach to counseling because she understands that health cannot be defined by someone's size. She encourages students to recognize how they can improve their eating, sleeping, and exercise routines to achieve optimal wellness. She also urges students to discover healthier ways to cope with stress. Gabrielle obtained her Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition with a concentration in Dietetics and a minor in psychology at Framingham State University. She then received her Master of Science in Dietetics at the University of Rhode Island. She currently serves as Chef Manager at the Hagan Campus Center, where she leads kitchen operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and creativity. Linda earned her Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management from The Ohio State University and later graduated as valedictorian with an Associate degree in Culinary Arts. Her deep knowledge of the industry and passion for food are reflected in every dish she prepares. Outside of work, she enjoys watching college and NFL football, spending time with her close family friend and two dogs, and exploring new flavors and food trends that inspire her craft.MichelleBentleyFood Service Manager

You’ll find Michelle most days in Taylor Dining Hall, where she works tirelessly to ensure every dining experience is exceptional. Her dedication and expertise make her an indispensable part of our team. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending quality time with her children and her cat, and she loves getting outdoors on her bike.
